Computer science engineering is, undoubtedly, one of the most sought after specialised courses nowadays. This is a technical degree below the undergraduate rank which aims to provide students with some basic knowledge of engineering, scientific, computing etc. Today’s world is highly dependent on computer systems that are fast, up-to-date, and secure. The objective of the Department of Computer Engineering is imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science . With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation, the Department has always produced quality professionals. Faculty and staffs in this department educate students to think conceptually to adapt themselves to this dynamic field. The students are not only trained in attaining academic excellence but are also encouraged to acquire industry exposure through industrial visits, in-plant training and projects .The learning atmosphere being more practical oriented makes the transition from an educational institution to an industry, effortless.

1. Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problems.
2. Problem analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods.
3. Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
4. Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
5. Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
6. Project Management: Use Engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined Engineering activities.
