Electronics engineering, is an engineering discipline where non-linear and active electrical components such as electron tubes, and semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits, are utilized to design electronic circuits, devices and systems, typically also including passive electrical components and based on printed circuit boards. The department has two laboratories namely Microprocessor & Micro controller Lab and Basic Electronics Lab. All these laboratories are fully equipped to meet the needs of academic curriculum and the present day technology. The department also boasts of a department library having nearly 100 volumes of different books relating to electronics. The Department has its own student association named “EXTRON” and conducts many technical talks, seminars, quizes etc. A number of students from this department are selected every year for different jobs relating to electronics through Campus recruitment
